Be a true brand ambassador for the Timberland brand as a Visual Merchandiser. Working as part of a nationwide team, you will be field based covering the North and Midlands.
The role Area Visual Merchandiser is to ensure country VM strategies coming from the country VM Supervisor are implemented and executed in all distribution channels (retail, wholesale, franchise, SIS and showrooms) within his area of reference , to ensure that Timberland storytelling comes to live and to positively influence sell in and sell thru.
The Area Visual Merchandiser will train and motivate in store VM Champions and store staffs of his / her area of reference to ensure the correct implementation of the plan.
Provide support and ensure stores of his / her area demonstrate high visual merchandising standards following the guidelines coming from HQ
Actively implement and follow up on store execution of all visual merchandising tools to increase sales and brand visibility within his area of reference
Liaise closely with local Retail, Wholesale, Operation team & Marketing.
Establish and develop a strong communication and partnership with all Franchising partners as well as Wholesale Key Accounts of his / her area of reference, in order to have full support locally and to ensure Visual Merchandising guidelines will be respected and carried out
Participate to local Visual Merchandising training sessions, workshops or seminars for the field and deliver them to the stores of his / her area of reference in order to ensure strong communication of visual expectations and standards
Draw a map of store visit priorities with the VM supervisor. Follow up and ensure the execution and sales expectations are met.
Support of the Marketing Manager during local markets events and during sell in sessions
Provide VM Supervisor with monthly reports of the visits highlighting bespoke market needs, issues and best practises
Manage local window and POS orders for all stores of his / her area of reference
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and / or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.
Education : Graduate, visual specialization
Full and clean driving licence.
Experience : at least 2 years of VM experience in all distribution channels
A good understanding of visual merchandising techniques
Demonstrating a creative and commercial approach
Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain, internal and external relationships.
Computer literate specifically PPT and excel user
Ability to work independently when out in the field, as well as working well with others.
Ability in managing conflicts
