Job ProfileL2 BSS Billing support engineer Job ResponsibilitiesProvide L2 application support to Business and IT support personnel Manage cases reported, perform root cause analysis and suggest improvement plan Implement and test new request, analyzes current functionality and processes, and making recommendations which is more effective.
Review of current process including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic cases Prepare necessary documentation to support problem and incident management Provide assistance to testers, project team and support personnel as and when requested Provide regular updates and recommendations to Business and IT support personnel Manage and execute batch processesJob Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
Preferable to have minimum 5 years experience in Billing system for Telco domain Minimum of 3 years experience in Application support and maintenanceOther Skill Sets Good understanding of the SDLC process Candidate will be proficient in written and verbal communications in English Highly self motivated and directed Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly Ability to present ideas in business friendly and user friendly language Very strong customer service orientation Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment Strong analytical / logical approach to systems support.
Able to work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines Operating within a dynamic team and fast moving Telco industry environment Ability to escalate and prioritize support calls / cases Willing to work on public holiday and weekend Must be willing to work long hours when the need arises
