DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN The Head of Broker Distribution role requires an experienced leader with a passion for relationship management and a proven track record of growing portfolios in a challenging environment.

Client DetailsLeading Global General Insurance business with offices in Jakarta, IndonesiaDescriptionProfile size of broker market, size and composition by product of individual broker business, and map opportunity with each broker, then strategically increase share of walletEstablish and manage effective sales KPIs including : Broker visitations, Pipeline management, Cross-sell, Key Account Planning, Broker reviews.

Create and manage broker portfolio KPI reporting, Facilitate weekly internal sales KPI meetings with underwriting team, Negotiate sales and business development transactions, Create and manage strategic carrier agreements with broker partners, Coordinate with actuarial team to effectively portfolio manage broker partners, Be able to articulate and communicate the benefits or objectives of technical solutions across all lines of business in an easy to understand manner.

Projecting leadership, execution, and creating collaborative and cooperative interactions with key business stakeholders.

Attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensure that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution.

Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed time frames. Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally.

Facilitate and deliver training on product solutions. Work with product management to provide feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products.

Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities.

Profile5+ years of experience in a market facing insurance roleProven track record to grow a portfolioEnthusiastic, energetic, outgoing personality and a strong work ethicExcellent presentation skillsForward looking with high levels of flexibility and ability / preference to work in uncertain, ambiguous and constantly changing contexts.

Proficiency in dealing with multiple senior stakeholders including Executive Committee, Business and Function HeadsStrong credibility, influencing and Leadership skills.

Proven ability to sell an idea and influence direction; outstanding negotiation and communication skills.Proven sound judgement and integrity.

Track record of operating in the best interest of all stakeholders, effectively managing risk-rewards with the highest ethical standards.

Exceptional ability to engage with assigned teams, manage them through specific deliveries & clear goals, and create collaboration to achieve results.

Capable of thinking strategically and being able to execute tactically. Ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume, high-speed environment.
