Description

This position will be responsible to develop the sales of corn protein, fibers and germ (Lipids) (Corn Wet Milling Co-Products) to the compound feed industry and edible oils market in order to maximize the value of these products.

Protein, fibers and lipids are produced as a co-product in the corn wet milling process.

This position will work towards the market needs as it is to be mapped and developed, commercial relationships needs to be developed with the potential customers prior to developing and strengthening the Corn Milling Business.

During the start-up period this position will have to focus on some off-grade products as they will have to be sold.

Maximising the value of the Co-products is the key task of this position with minimizing the business risk.

  • To develop the sales of corn protein (Corn Gluten Meal) to Poultry, Shrimp feed Pet food producers, fibres (CGF) to the dairy feed industry and sales of lipids (Corn germs) to germ expellers for the edible oils market.
  • The market needs to be mapped and developed for potential customers.
  • Commercial relationships need to be developed / established with the potential customers of the business.
  • Maximize sales value of the Coproducts by creating new demand and finding new applications for the Co - products.
  • Knowledge available in the sister BU’s in Indonesia (CAN, CQN, CASC )and Europe / US for corn milling will be used to avoid re-inventing the wheel.
  • Executes Cargill food safety, environment, health and safety procedures in sales.
  • Ensures we obtain all necessary permits to sell PFL products and is aware of regulatory changes.
  • Participates in safety and environmental audits at the plant.
  • Prepares and manages Co-Products sales budget.
  • Reports results and developments on a monthly basis
  • Job is performed in a timely and accurate manner and according to policies and procedures, such as the guiding principles.
  • Manages the risk position of Co - products
  • Frequently works at the plant site in close cooperation with the plant team, specifically production and logistics.
  • Sales of RVF (Refinery Scum ), Corn Mill Intake Off grades , Pre / PostCleaning Corn any other off grades like Corn Steep Liquid
  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor degree with commercial acumen andindustry knowledge

    Proven commercial skills, business developer

    Local person, speaking local language

    Min 5 8 years’ experience in sales andbusiness development

    Working independently but connected with theBusiness Unit and sister Business Units

    Deep experience of the compound feed customersand industry for dairy , poultry and fish feed Industry of Indonesia.

    Intensive relationships and communications,with the customers and the plant.

    Drive value from connectivity with another BU’s.
