The primary purpose of this role is to drive continuous improvement culture, wastes elimination, and high predictability of results.

These should manifest in simplified but more effective processes, achieve more with less cost, people or effort, reduced processing time, safer work place, right-first-time products, which in turns improve profitability and customers satisfactions.

The role owns the CI processes and is responsible for identification, valuation, prioritization, execution, tracking and reporting of CI projects and opportunities.

It also functions to drive root-cause analysis, reduction of variability of inputs and processes, facilitates CI knowledge management, trainings and CI talents development.

  • Direct and facilitate ideation, assessment and valuation of improvement opportunities and projects; Responsible to achieve the targeted payback project per year of 20-30% of capital.
  • Lead Stable Operations deployment and improvement for the plant. Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate process defects, dents and instability of process and output.
  • Drive culture change in Continuous Improvement, develop CI talents to achieve the desired number of blackbelts and greenbelts certified personnel for the plant.
  • Champion root cause analysis culture and data-driven decisions. Lead the process mapping evaluation, assessment of existing losses and value of opportunities, cost vs.
  • benefit analysis and feasibility of improvement opportunities. - Act as internal CI consultant, develop short- and long-term CI strategies for the plant incorporating six sigma, lean and other TQM practices.

  • Drive value stream mapping to define "As-Is Analysis", the desired future state, and determine actions, cost and schedule to achieve the future state.
  • Act as the main contact for the Plant with global Cargill CI community, including but not limited to coordination and production CI scorecards and KPIs and ensure repeatable and sustainable results.
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering from reputableuniversity. ·Minimum 5 years of experience as CI Lead orsimilar position in a large-scale manufacturing environment, preferably inF&B industries.
  • Blackbelt certified is preferred. ·Strong leadership and influencing skills. ·Excellent in data analysis and present theinformation in a meaningful way to support decisions.
  • Outstanding problem solving skills. ·Experienced in deploying an improvement usingLean, Six Sigma or TPM or other methodology ·Exceptional English communication skills(speaking, writing and reasoning) ·Ability to learn and apply new concepts andovercome obstacles with change.
