As our next M&E Construction Supervisor in Mongolia, reporting to the UG Construction Superintendent, Mongolia you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-
quality solutions and results.
Based at our client’s cooper operation mine in Mongolia’s remote South Gobi Desert region in a full-time FIFO capacity on a 28 / 14 roster.
Some of your duties will include;
Supporting the Construction Superintendent to manage, coordinate, monitor, supervise and control the construction works to achieve the project objectives for safety, programme, quality and environmental performance
Co-ordinating and supervising daily activities of work crews
Ensure the scope of work completed by your team is compliant with the client’s contractual requirements
Interpret drawings and documentation
Ensure compliance with internal, client and HSE requirements through to ensuring the quality, production and environmental requirements of the project
Delivery of scope of work to the forecast and schedule, recording and reporting on completed activities, delays
Monitoring tools and consumables
MV & LV cable installation, termination and testing
MV substation installation, testing and commissioning
LV distribution board installation, testing and commissioning
Lighting installation, testing and commissioning
Instrumentation installation, testing and commissioning
HDPE pipe fit-up, installation and welding
Structural erection and fit-up
Mechanical equipment installation (Water break tanks, ventilation and accessories assembly)
What skills and experience do you need?
Relevant industry experience, trade qualification
5-8 years of Underground tunnel services construction experience, welding and pipe fitting experience Underground tunnel services experience highly regarded
Adaptability to changing operational situations
Demonstrated previous expat experience in similar role preferred
