An excellent opportunity for Officer Cost Control has arisen to join our Commercial Department. Residentially based in Wahana Coal Mine Project.
Some of your duties will include :
Must have strong knowledge in Enterprises resources planning and production record (JDE & Infomine) to identify commercial scope work and performance of contract deliverables within both side (Payable & Receivable) in Project activities.
Calculate the payment based on Milestones / Progress.
Prepare variation submission, seek for client approval and Include variations in the progress payment claim.
Provide interim quantities for Progress Claims.
Responsible is creating and submitting the monthly progress claim.
Responsible prepare rate calculation for variation orders by client.
Responsible to maintain and use effective cost control systems daily, weekly, and monthly in accordance with Company procedures from award to completion, using data collected from Mining, and Maintenance Department at site.
Responsible to prepare Contract Valuation Package.
Responsible for Flexi budget preparation followed by JDE update for Quantity, Amount, Contingency (Budget Revision Module), Variation (Change Management Module), Forecast Cost and Revenue.
To ensure all infomine functional report infomine is working properly
Responsible to maintain and developing database for better report
Ensure All infomine data are well maintained
Ensure the following reports are produced in a timely manner Hourly, Daily, Weekly and Monthly
Provide Accurate and quick analysis to improve mining operational process
What skills and experience do you need?
Applicants should have a minimum Diploma or Bachelor degree in Economic, Civil, Industrial or Mining Engineering with minimum 5 years in the mining or construction industry in similar role as Engineer Cost Control and minimum 3 years in site based with demonstrated project management, cost control and planning skills;
proficient in Ms Project, Ms Office, and Desktop Publishing Package; proficient in Resources Analysis; proficient in Cost Control utilizing software such as JDE or other ERP will be additional advantage
Good leadership, independent and mature personality, self-motivated, results driven and good negotiation skills; high initiative;
performance driven; good planning skill; good communication skills and proficient in written and spoken English.
