Essential and optional requirements
1.The Laundry Supervisor is responsible and accountable, under the direction of the Housekeeping Leader for the efficient overall day to day operation of the hotel whilst on duty.
2.Maintain the highest standard of guest service and satisfaction.
3.The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for emergency the team spirit and motivation all staff.
4.They must also be fair and just in any staff disciplinary action required.
5.The Laundry Supervisor is also expected to be a hands on supervisor.
6.By this, we expect that they be prepared to lend hands on assistance if a hotel area becomes very busy.
7.It must be emphasizes that this hands on assistance must be approached with the hotel as a whole in mind and must not be detrimental to the efficient operations of other areas.
8.As a representative of senior management, Laundry Supervisor will be called upon to deal with guest problems or complaint related to the laundry.
9.Is responsible for the laundry service of the hotel.
10.Supervises the general cleaning, the general appearance and function of laundry equipment in the Hotel.
11.Is responsible for all equipment used in his department as well as the cleaning supplies.
12.Ensures that inspection norms set by the Housekeeping Manager are implemented and regularly adhered to.
